I mention "Ole Shep" because I remember my father singing this
tune. He was ( as I am ) a very big fan of Mac Wiseman
and
I am fortunate to have met him, and year after year, speak with him and
"catch up on years past". He is a wonderful man and
very easy to get to know, not to mention his wonderful music that I love
to hear so very much.
